Living the Ideal Lifestyle in the Southern Living Idea House Community of Crane Island
Our Southern Living Idea House is quickly becoming a home and while these next few months are critical; our Riverside Homes team is anxiously anticipating opening the doors for the world to see what’s inside. Interior elements are being installed, painting inside and outside is bringing character to the home and wiring is making the house one-step closer to being livable. While some interior details are still being finalized by the Southern Living team which includes Riverside Homes and Heather Chadduck Interiors & Textiles, the canvas that surrounds the home is just as important as what is being placed inside the home.
There’s no coincidence how Crane Island was selected as the community for the 2019 Southern Living Idea House. Crane Island, located on Amelia Island, embodies what Southern Living readers embrace. It’s a stunning canvas of majestic ancient oaks with quiet streets that honor the timeless design and character of the southern lifestyle. As you travel through the bends and curves of Crane Island, you’re able to experience stunning sunsets, front porch living and waterfront views. It’s a pristine environment that connects your soul to nature. It’s a peaceful setting that compliments your way of life. And it’s a place where generations can cherish everything Crane Island and Amelia Island offer.
The Southern Living Idea House is ideally situated in a cul-de-sac overlooking the intracoastal waterway. With expansive porches, the Southern Living Idea House offers stunning views of muted natural color palette of deep blue water framed with oak trees dripping in moss. Whether you wish to enjoy the water from a boat or from the porch as boaters pass by, there’s something to be said for a waterfront view.
We like to think that life on Crane Island offers a “move at your own pace” kind of lifestyle. However, truth be told, the clock is ticking for our completion date on the Southern Living Idea House. We anticipate sharing more exciting news with you later this month!
